Door County Retreat Historic Cabin on the Bay
The Cabin was originally built in the 1870's in Peninsula State Park. It was purchased and moved in 1955 to its current location by Maggy Magerstadt Fisher, an actress from NYC who was involved in the Peninsula Players Theater, as her guest home on the estate.
The cabin has retained its original charm through its various updates. It currently features 3 bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 bath, a living room and a kitchenette. The location is idyllic, on the shoreline of Green Bay, in Fish Creek.
The space
Originally built in Peninsula State Park in the 1870's, it was moved in 1955 to the current location by the actress, Maggy Magerstadt Fisher as a summer home then eventually became a guest home.
The cabin is on south side of the property behind the main house property only steps away from Bay of Green Bay. The estate is over five acres, densely wooded and has 300 feet of shore along the Bay of Green Bay between Egg Harbor and Fish Creek.
Located close to all that makes Door County a magical place to visit, you'll also have walking access to Peninsula Players Theatre trail. Which is just a short coastline walk away from the Peninsula Players Theatre. Door County Trolley is only one mile away.
The Cabin has 3 bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 baths, and a simple kitchenette. You'll have gas grill and evenings can be spent on the porch watching the sunset over the water, followed by roasting marshmallows over the campfire.

This rental includes the full use of the cabin, outdoor fire pit, kayak and paddle boards.
